Taj Mahal with Ganga Tour

DAY 01:- DELHI - AGRA
Drive to Agra (200 kms / 3 hrs). On arrival our guide meet you and take you to explore Agra city. Taj Mahal:
It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal during1631 - 1653. The Taj Mahal is synonymous to love and romance. It took 21 long years to complete this masterpiece with the help of a huge labor force of 20,000 workers. Later we go for lunch at a Restaurant in Agra. After lunch we visit Agra Fort.
Agra Fort:
A vast museum of interesting buildings, started by Akbar. Each successive Mughal Emperor right up to Aurangzeb contributed something. Construction of the Agra Fort started in 1565 and was completed in 1573.
Itimad Ud Daulah:
Visit to Itimad Ud Daulah (Mini Taj). Before the Taj Mahal built, its design was already standing in the form of Itmad Ud Daulah's Tomb. Built to represent a silver jewel box in marble, this mausoleum houses the body of Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father of the Mughal Empress Noor Jahan.
Later we continue our drive to Delhi. Reach Delhi by late evening. Our driver will drop you to your hotel.

DAY 02:- DELHI - HARIDWAR - RISHIKESH
Morning drive to Haridwar. Haridwar is measured very holy, as this is the point from where the Ganges emerges from the Himalayas to begin its slow progress across the plains. The main ghat 'Har ki Pauri' (the footsteps of God) is suppose to be the precise spot where the Ganges leaves the mountains and enters the plains. Thus the river's power to wash away sins at this spot is superlative and endorsed by a footprint of Vishnu left on a stone here. Overnight at Rishikesh.

Proceed for an excursion trip of Rishikesh, Rishikesh is a holy city for Hindus located in the foothills of the Himalaya in northern India. Legend states that Lord Rama did penance here for killing Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. It is also known as the gateway to the Himalayas, Rishikesh is the starting point for traveling to the sites that form the Char Dham pilgrimage - Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri, in Rishikesh visit the magnificent ashrams and famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Later drive back to Delhi. On arrival transfer to airport for your flight.
